Apple 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Panama City: the compare shortlist
Apple in Panama City: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.81 per 10 ml.
The honest read on apple: 7 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple 30 ml shortfill really costs in Panama City
We run apple the same way in Panama City: same 30 ml shortfill, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Panama.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.81 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | B/.50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.81 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
