Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.66 per 10 ml.
The short version: apple in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple pen device really costs in Panama City
Apple pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Packaging for apple in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.66 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
