Candy cartomizer IQOS in Panama City: the deals shortlist
Candy in Panama City: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How we tested Candy cartomizer here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run candy the same way in Panama City: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy cartomizer really costs in Panama City
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.94 per 10 ml.
How we tested candy in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised B/.31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.94 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for candy in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
