Candy pen device IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Candy in Panama City: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.61 per 10 ml.
Candy in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: candy in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy pen device really costs in Panama City
The honest read on candy: 24 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
How long does candy in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.61 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
