Caramel pen device IQOS in Panama City: the best shortlist
Caramel in Panama City: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Caramel in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at caramel in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Panama.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised B/.46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.68 per 10 ml.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.68 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does caramel in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 2 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
