Citrus squonk mod IQOS in Panama City: the wholesale shortlist
Citrus in Panama City: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus in Panama City reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.55 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus squonk mod really costs in Panama City
We run citrus the same way in Panama City: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Panama.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Panama City survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does citrus in a squonk mod last?
In Panama City we measured 7 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
