Cola pen device IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Cola in Panama City: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Cola is allowed to say
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cola in Panama City reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola pen device really costs in Panama City
Cola in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where cola goes wrong
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised B/.28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.3.01 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cola start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.3.01 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does cola in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 5 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
