Frozen box mod IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Panama City: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a box mod for frozen
The honest read on frozen: 10 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: frozen in Panama City works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen box mod really costs in Panama City
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested frozen in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.3.57 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.3.57 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
