Iced cartomizer IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Iced in Panama City: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What iced costs in Panama City
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.88 per 10 ml.
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: iced in Panama City works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in Panama City
We run iced the same way in Panama City: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Panama.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.1.88 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Panama City survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Packaging for iced in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.1.88 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.88 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
