Home / Iced pen device IQOS in Panama City: the guide shortlist

Choosing a pen device for iced

Iced pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

We run iced the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a iced pen device really costs in Panama City

Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.39 per 10 ml.

How we tested iced in a pen device

1. Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Panama.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where iced goes wrong

• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
• Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
