Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A licorice box mod from the bulk options in Panama costs about B/.2.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice box mod really costs in Panama City
The honest read on licorice: 19 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised B/.45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.98 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.98 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.98 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
