Melon pen device IQOS in Panama City: the compare shortlist
Melon in Panama City: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
The honest read on melon: 22 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Melon in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: melon in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pen device really costs in Panama City
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Panama City survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does melon in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 2 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
