Mint prefilled pod IQOS in Panama City: the review shortlist
Mint in Panama City: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A mint prefilled pod from the reviewed options in Panama costs about B/.2.36 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run mint the same way in Panama City: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Panama City works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.36 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Panama.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
