Mint starter kit IQOS in Panama City: the order shortlist
Mint in Panama City: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.68 per 10 ml.
The honest read on mint: 16 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: mint in Panama City works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint starter kit really costs in Panama City
A mint starter kit from the pre-order options in Panama costs about B/.1.68 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Panama City survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
