Pear pen device IQOS in Panama City: the best shortlist
Pear in Panama City: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a pen device for pear
Pear in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on pear: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Panama City
We run pear the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Panama City survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
