Pear pen device IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Pear in Panama City: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Panama City
Pear in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised B/.67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.23 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.23 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
