How we tested Pear squonk mod here
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run pear the same way in Panama City: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Panama City
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised B/.31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.09 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
