Pear starter kit IQOS in Panama City: the order shortlist
Pear in Panama City: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
If you are looking at pear in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.66 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Panama City works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Panama City
Pear in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
