Pear starter kit IQOS in Panama City: the price shortlist
Pear in Panama City: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
We run pear the same way in Panama City: same starter kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: pear in Panama City works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Panama City
Pear in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.6 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does pear in a starter kit last?
In Panama City we measured 4 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
