Ordering IQOS to Panama City: the practical version
We run pear the same way in Panama City: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: pear in Panama City works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at pear in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | B/.45 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.25 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Panama City we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
