Plain pen device IQOS in Panama City: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Panama City: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A plain pen device from the bulk options in Panama costs about B/.3.09 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.09 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain pen device really costs in Panama City
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised B/.44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.3.09 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plain in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
