Plum pod kit IQOS in Panama City: the wholesale shortlist
Plum in Panama City: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a pod kit for plum
Plum in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A plum pod kit from the bulk options in Panama costs about B/.2.16 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Panama City
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.16 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.16 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
