Ordering IQOS to Panama City: the practical version
A plum prefilled pod from the budget options in Panama costs about B/.2.31 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.31 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.31 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
