The short version: salted in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Panama City
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Panama.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised B/.43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.97 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Panama |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | B/.43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.97 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 5 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.97 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
