Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Panama City: the compare shortlist
Salted in Panama City: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a prefilled pod for salted
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run salted the same way in Panama City: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
Salted prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Panama |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | B/.32 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.3.26 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Is salted legal to sell in Panama?
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
