Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Salted in Panama City: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a prefilled pod for salted
A salted prefilled pod from the flat-rate options in Panama costs about B/.2.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted in Panama City reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.13 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.13 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
