Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
A salted vape pen from the reviewed options in Panama costs about B/.1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.88 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at salted in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Panama.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised B/.57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.1.88 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for salted in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.88 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does salted in a vape pen last?
In Panama City we measured 5 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
