Sour box mod IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run sour the same way in Panama City: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Panama City
A sour box mod from the budget options in Panama costs about B/.1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Treating the advertised B/.68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.1.84 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Panama?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Do you ship tracked orders to Panama?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
