Sour box mod IQOS in Panama City: the price shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.46 per 10 ml.
The short version: sour in Panama City works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour box mod really costs in Panama City
A sour box mod from the value options in Panama costs about B/.3.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Panama.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sour in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
