Sour pen device IQOS in Panama City: the compare shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Ordering IQOS to Panama City: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sour in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sour in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour pen device really costs in Panama City
We run sour the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sour in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 6 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.2.62 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
