Ordering IQOS to Panama City: the practical version
Sour in Panama City reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on sour: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour pen device really costs in Panama City
Sour pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Panama City survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Treating the advertised B/.50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.06 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for sour in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | B/.50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.06 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.06 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
