Sour RDA IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a RDA for sour
Sour RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on sour: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Panama City works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour RDA really costs in Panama City
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sour | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Panama |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Panama | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | B/.56 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.36 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.36 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
