Sweet pen device IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Sweet in Panama City: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
The honest read on sweet: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.74 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Panama City
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.74 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
