Sweet pod kit IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Panama City: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Sweet pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run sweet the same way in Panama City: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet pod kit really costs in Panama City
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sweet in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Panama.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Panama City survives.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.97 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
