Sweet prefilled pod IQOS in Panama City: the guide shortlist
Sweet in Panama City: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a prefilled pod for sweet
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.49 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
Sweet prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Panama.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.49 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sweet in a prefilled pod last?
In Panama City we measured 3 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
