Tobacco mesh tank IQOS in Panama City: the online shortlist
Tobacco in Panama City: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What the label on Tobacco is allowed to say
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.59 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco mesh tank really costs in Panama City
We run tobacco the same way in Panama City: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised B/.61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.59 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tobacco in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is tobacco legal to sell in Panama?
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How long does tobacco in a mesh tank last?
In Panama City we measured 7 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
