Tobacco pen device IQOS in Panama City: the cheap shortlist
Tobacco in Panama City: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
A tobacco pen device from the cheapest options in Panama costs about B/.1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run tobacco the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Panama City
We run tobacco the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Panama City survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.1.73 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How long does tobacco in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
