Tobacco pen device IQOS in Panama City: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Panama City: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tobacco habit
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: tobacco in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Panama City
A tobacco pen device from the flat-rate options in Panama costs about B/.2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Panama.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised B/.38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.03 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tobacco in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.03 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
