Tobacco pod kit IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Tobacco in Panama City: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a pod kit for tobacco
Tobacco pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on tobacco: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco pod kit really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at tobacco in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tobacco in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Panama.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Panama City survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tobacco in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How long does tobacco in a pod kit last?
In Panama City we measured 5 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.19 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
