Tobacco squonk mod IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Tobacco in Panama City: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.47 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco squonk mod really costs in Panama City
The honest read on tobacco: 16 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tobacco in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.3.47 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
Is tobacco legal to sell in Panama?
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
