Tropical box mod IQOS in Panama City: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Panama City: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How we tested Tropical box mod here
Ordering into Panama City usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.1.67 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Panama City
A tropical box mod from the cheapest options in Panama costs about B/.1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
