Tropical in Panama City: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Panama
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Tropical pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Panama City
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Panama.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Panama City survives.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tropical in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 3 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Panama?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
