Tropical pod kit IQOS in Panama City: the compare shortlist
Tropical in Panama City: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
If you are looking at tropical in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical pod kit really costs in Panama City
Tropical pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Panama.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Panama stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Panama City survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.

Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.1.79 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.1.79 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
