The short version: tropical in Panama City works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Panama City
Tropical in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Panama City survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
