Vanilla in Panama City: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Ordering IQOS to Panama City: the practical version
We run vanilla the same way in Panama City: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A vanilla pod kit from the compared options in Panama costs about B/.3.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: vanilla in Panama City works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pod kit really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at vanilla in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.3.42 per 10 ml.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Panama allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
