Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run melon the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Panama are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: melon in Panama City works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon pen device really costs in Panama City
We run melon the same way in Panama City: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Panama, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Panama.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where melon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised B/.40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.1.63 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for melon in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.1.63 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
How long does melon in a pen device last?
In Panama City we measured 3 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
