Plum prefilled pod IQOS in Panama City: the order shortlist
Plum in Panama City: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Plum in Panama City reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.04 per 10 ml.
The short version: plum in Panama City works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at plum in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Panama.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Panama City survives.
- Treating the advertised B/.64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.3.04 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Panama need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Is plum legal to sell in Panama?
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.3.04 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
