Plum refill pack IQOS in Panama City: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Panama City: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
What plum costs in Panama City
The honest read on plum: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.2.2 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Panama City
We run plum the same way in Panama City: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Panama, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised B/.43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.2 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Panama must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
