Sour refill pack IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
A sour refill pack from the budget options in Panama costs about B/.3.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Panama City that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within B/.3.13 per 10 ml.
The short version: sour in Panama City works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour refill pack really costs in Panama City
Sour in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Panama City the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Panama.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Panama accept nicotine freight.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.3.13 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within B/.3.13 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
