Sour squonk mod IQOS in Panama City: the budget shortlist
Sour in Panama City: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Panama.
Choosing a squonk mod for sour
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Panama. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run sour the same way in Panama City: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Panama City
If you are looking at sour in Panama, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Panama, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised B/.36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run B/.2.5 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Panama sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Panama applies its own import permit process for nicotine goods. Shipping of nicotine to Panama runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | B/.36 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | B/.2.5 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Panama City: about B/.2.5 per 10 ml liquid plus B/.36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Panama?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
